Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server, Bartender, and Host, where you'll be the welcoming face of our vibrant hospitality environment. In this multifaceted role, you will create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service, expertly handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring smooth operations from greeting guests to managing their dining journey. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a lively, upscale atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer relations, and hospitality management while working in a fast-paced, engaging setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and seat them according to service standards Present menus, recommend dishes, and suggest wine pairings Take orders accurately and communicate with kitchen staff Deliver food and beverages with precision and presentation Clear tables efficiently without disrupting guests Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining composure Process payments and manage point-of-sale system Work flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, holidays Qualifications 1-3 years experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality roles such as server, bartender, or host/hostess is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Food Handlers and TABC(Current) Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Background in fine dining setting is advantageous for understanding high-end service expectations. Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; experience with cashiering is desirable.
