Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife experience such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Culinary experience or food handling knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and food safety protocols Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting Familiarity with sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable to ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in a vibrant environment, and ready to deliver exceptional service that leaves a lasting impression!
