Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and efficiently seat them using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash handling procedures Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to assist guests with recommendations Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met through proper food handling and cleanliness practices Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently while demonstrating strong time management skills Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs is preferred Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables during peak hours effectively Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
