Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Nacho Bravo. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and familiarity with POS systems. This role involves providing attentive service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is preferred, along with the ability to upsell menu items and manage multiple tables efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations when appropriate Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha or Micros Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems such as OpenTable Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide informed service Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred Familiarity with POS systems including SpotOn, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Experience with high-volume restaurants is a plus Strong time management skills with the ability to serve multiple tables efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability preferred Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and hospitality.
