Full-Time / Part-Time The Lake House at Deer Creek is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Server to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent food and beverage service. Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to every guest. Greet and communicate with guests in a warm and knowledgeable manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Have strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials. Maintain excellent knowledge of our wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail selections. Recommend food and beverage pairings when appropriate. Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables throughout service. Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, bussers, and management. Follow all Lake House service standards and SOPs. Follow proper food safety, alcohol service, and responsible beverage service procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times. Required Qualifications Previous restaurant serving experience preferred. Strong bar knowledge is required. Must have current Food Handler Certification . Must have current Sips & Tips Certification . Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ability to work as part of a team. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a server who is: Hospitality-focused and genuinely enjoys taking care of guests. Knowledgeable and confident with food and beverages. Comfortable making recommendations and upselling. Detail-oriented and organized. Reliable and a strong team player. Professional, positive, and able to remain calm during busy service.
