Tai Lai Shun Lehi is looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking Servers / Waitstaff to join our team. We are an authentic Chinese restaurant offering housemade noodles, rice bowls, traditional Chinese dishes, boba drinks, and other specialty menu items. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required . Training will be provided for motivated candidates who are willing to learn. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Seat guests and provide menus. Explain menu items and answer customer questions. Accurately take food and beverage orders. Enter orders correctly into the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately. Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests. Process payments accurately and professionally. Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests. Maintain a clean and organized dining area. Help maintain cleanliness of restrooms and customer areas. Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties. Refill soy sauce, vinegar, napkins, utensils, and other dining supplies. Restock cups, lids, straws, and supplies at the boba station. Sweep and mop assigned areas as needed. Take out trash and assist with general restaurant cleaning. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, coworkers, and management. Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and restaurant policies. Qualifications Friendly, positive, and professional attitude. Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn the menu and restaurant procedures. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift. Ability to perform routine cleaning and side-work duties. Availability for evening and/or weekend shifts is preferred. Restaurant or customer-service experience is a plus but not required. Must meet applicable Utah food-handler requirements.
