Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring food preparation, presentation, and service meet our high standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience. Utilize POS systems for order processing and ensure accurate transactions. Upsell menu items to guests, promoting specials and enhancing overall sales. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Buss tables as needed to maintain a clean dining environment. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
