Boren's Smokehouse is looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Server / Cashier . This role is the face of our restaurant—greeting guests, taking orders, handling transactions, and ensuring every customer has a great experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner Take food and drink orders accurately Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit card transactions Serve food and beverages to customers promptly Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, front counter, and service stations Assist with light food prep, restocking, and side work as needed Ensure customers have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong communication and people skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Someone who enjoys interacting with customers Ability to stay organized during busy meal times Willingness to help teammates and contribute to a great work environment Schedule Flexible scheduling available Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be required We look forward to meeting you!
