POSITION SUMMARY
As a Restaurant Server at Hearth and Hill, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude while enhancing the guest experience. Must be able to work Thursday - Sunday. This is a PM shift starting around 3:45-4:15 and ending at close. Base server wage $2.13/hour plus tips.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide superior service to all guests, through close adherence to steps of service, attention to detail and personal involvement with the guest experience Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly Personalize the selling of food and drink items to enhance the guest experience Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner by adhering to our timing standards Present professionalism at all times in manor and appearance, according to Hearth and Hill's dress and grooming standards Perform shift opening & closing checklist; maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant Coordinate and communicate proactively with all associates Comprehensive knowledge of current menus and products through training opportunities for continued learning Detail oriented control of all procedures involving guest orders, cash procedures, POS system, guest checks and close out of shift Adhere to sanitation and safety policies and ensure that all service is in compliance with Utah alcohol laws Clear product knowledge (including wine, beer, liquor, food) Address guest concerns or issues with professionalism and resolve them quickly.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
Food handlers & beverage service permits Possess at a minimum a High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a basic knowledge of bar service procedures and functions Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours) Ability to bend, lift, push & carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
