Restaurant Manager Position Summary We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Server to join our sushi restaurant team. The ideal candidate provides exceptional hospitality, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering a memorable dining experience. Servers are responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, educating guests about menu items, and ensuring every customer receives attentive and efficient service. Must be 21+. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their dining experience. Present menus and answer questions about sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls, beverages, and daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met. Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns professionally. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining tables, service stations, and the dining room. Refill beverages, clear dishes, and reset tables quickly for new guests. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Work collaboratively with sushi chefs, kitchen staff, and fellow team members to provide seamless service. Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine is a plus; training will be provided. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Skills Experience with POS systems. Knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions. Ability to recommend menu items and upsell appetizers, specialty rolls, desserts, and beverages. Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills. What We Offer Employee meal discounts.
