Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide recommendations based on their preferences Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service flow Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings effectively Provide expert beverage service including spirits experience, wine knowledge, cocktail mixing, and drink service Foster guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with POS systems is essential Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service is highly desirable Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial for understanding guest flow management Strong communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and service excellence Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through energetic service, culinary expertise, and genuine hospitality!
