Job Description
Sweetopia is looking for energetic, friendly, and dependable team members to join our growing ice cream shop in downtown Blacksburg! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, creating memorable customer experiences, and serving delicious treats, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Scoop and serve ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, and other menu items. Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area. Restock toppings, cones, cups, and other supplies throughout the shift. Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with opening and closing duties. Work as a team to provide exceptional customer service and keep the shop running smoothly. Qualifications Friendly, positive, and customer-focused personality. Reliable and punctual. Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. Weekend and evening availability preferred. Previous food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
