Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items like cocktails, wine, or specialty dishes to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Process cash and card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including spirits, wine knowledge, food safety protocols, and food preparation details Clear tables promptly, bus tables as needed, and assist with sanitation and food handling standards to uphold health regulations Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, making recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist in bar service during busy hours by preparing drinks with cocktail experience expertise and beverage service skills Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while adhering to food industry safety standards Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service is desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and courteously Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or upscale restaurants Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience in roles such as host/hostess or bussing can be beneficial but not required Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences!
