Overview We are looking for a food runner and also servers/deli cashier to help our restaurant run smoothly. At this time we do not need full time availability for either position but could potentially have 4-5 shifts a week for the right person if willing to be trained in multiple areas. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation and temperature meet quality standards Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional service support as needed Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including side stations and dining rooms, adhering to food safety standards Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service delivery Support food handling procedures to ensure proper safety and sanitation protocols are followed Help set up and break down banquet or special event spaces, contributing to smooth event execution Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently Experience in bussing, serving, or supporting banquet events enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen or culinary experience, hotel experience, or hospitality background is advantageous for understanding guest needs and operational flow This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
