As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure positive guest relations. Requirements Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. Familiarity with OpenTable or Aldo systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
