Job Overview Virginia Restaurant Group LLC is expanding its operation in Irvington with a new Italian restaurant opening in October. We have both full-time positions with health insurance and paid time off as well as part-time positions as needed. Base pay is $5.00 per hour with excellent tips for this high-end Italian cuisine restaurant. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Servers to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food recommendations, and a welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they return time and again. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including food handling and sanitation protocols Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and promote ongoing guest relations Support team members during busy periods by providing efficient beverage service, cocktail mixing, or bussing assistance At least 3 years of previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Experience in fine dining environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service under pressure Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage presentation is a plus

Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
