Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, with a focus on presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or drink recommendations Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables during busy hours Qualifications Proven food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest rapport Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking between serving tables and processing transactions Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing sales accurately Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus for creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver outstanding guest experiences!
