Duties Help to lead and motivate the serving team to deliver outstanding guest service consistently. Oversee table assignments, ensure timely food and beverage delivery, and manage guest relations with professionalism. Assist in training staff on POS systems such as Toast to streamline order processing and sales transactions. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Support food safety standards by ensuring proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations. Coordinate with kitchen staff for food preparation, plating standards, and timely service while maintaining high-quality presentation. Conduct opening and closing procedures including inventory checks and sanitation audits. Utilize reservation platforms such as Resy/Toast Tables to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements for maximum guest satisfaction. Skills Extensive experience with POS for efficient order entry and sales processing. Proven ability in fine dining service with strong knowledge of food industry standards and beverage service etiquette. Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables seamlessly during busy hours. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques. Will train the right candidate but basic knowledge is expected. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences. A consistent positive attitude is a must. Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing tables, host/hostess duties, cashiering, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols. Hospitality-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to foster teamwork among staff members. This position includes tips in addition to the hourly rate. There is no tip pooling so you keep your own tips. A small percentage will be deducted from all servers and bartenders and used to tip out the back of the house.
