Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Assist with food handling, preparation, and basic kitchen support when needed, adhering strictly to food safety protocols. Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently during busy hours. Support team members in a collaborative environment, contributing to a lively nightclub or fine dining atmosphere as required. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that engages guests positively. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and cashiering tasks accurately. Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or hospitality roles is highly valued. Basic kitchen skills or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food prep tasks when needed.
