BARREL & BUSHEL SERVICE ASSISTANT

Barrel & Bushel is a neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of Tysons Corner, serving classic American cuisine handcrafted from the region's freshest seasonal ingredients. Our sophisticated rustic dining room and bar evoke simplicity and warmth, inviting travelers and local residents to gather and celebrate the best flavors of the season. At Barrel & Bushel, we believe our guests select us because of our caring and attentive team who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. Service Assistants are a critical support to servers, bartenders, and hosts. Our Service Assistants rates start at $14 per hour plus tip out.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality and accuracy of food orders to every guest, including preparation of to go and hotel delivery orders
• Follow the VA Health Department requirements on safe food handling
• Execute expo steps of service and work alongside the culinary teams
• Assist guests with requests
• Restock and organize supplies
• Bus and clean all tables and bar areas
• Trash and recycling removal and conduct floor sweeps Qualifications

Qualifications:

Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts and to stand for up to 8 hours Positive attitude and social skills Good organizational skills
