JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner to ensure quality guest service. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner. Takes beverage orders from guests and relays orders to bartender to deliver drink order to the guest at their location. Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge. Maintains cleanliness of guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays. Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations. Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation, including restocking service well with supplies. Checks supplies and maintains proper set up and cleanliness of service stations before, during, and after shift. Prepares coffee and soft drinks for the drink orders. Properly garnishes drinks. Performs other related duties as assigned. #rosies 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong and accurate money handling skills. Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask. Knowledge of wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. One to three months experience in related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate. Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

The Team Member will be required to stand for the duration of the shift. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
