Full Job Description Overview:
Clear, clean, reset tables, maintain cleanliness of floor and restaurant, and assist servers in accordance with the company standards.
Responsibilities:
Level One Maintain cleanliness of restaurant throughout shift and especially during peak hours. Provide a clean, net representation while in company uniform Maintain station cleanliness & organization throughout shift. Complete all assigned opening, running, & closing sidework. Ensure proper placement of tables sets, silverware, & tables. Inspect all table sets, table tops, floors & chairs to ensure fulfillment of company standards of cleanliness. Maintain communication between hostess stand, & servers to maintain accuracy of wait times. Reset tables in a quick & efficient manner to reduce turn-around time of tables. Maintain cleanliness of chemical closet, brooms, dustpans, & mops. Assist servers as needed. Help keep the restaurant a safe working environment for guests as well as associates. Successfully complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Type Qualification Experience Due to the hours required, must be at least 17 years old. Must possess basic reading and writing skills necessary to perform daily functions and successfully fulfill training and testing requirements. Basic communication skills are required to provide guest service interaction. Basic computer skills are required necessary to utilize the POSI system for clocking-in and out. Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required. Must work well with others and possess the ability to work without constant supervision. Education Some High School, Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Experience Previous experience in a high volume restaurant environment is a plus Skill Must be able to follow a documented standard table set up specification.
Wage/Salary:
$3.50 plus tips
