The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing menu recommendations. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience, including upselling specials. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Support host/host duties during peak times to ensure smooth guest flow. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
