We are seeking reliable and service-oriented Catering / Banquet Waitstaff to provide exceptional food and beverage service at weddings, corporate events, banquets, and private functions. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working events, thrive in a team environment, and take pride in delivering polished, attentive service. Event Setup & Preparation Assist with setting up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event orders and company standards Arrange tables, linens, place settings, glassware, and décor as directed Set up beverage stations, buffets, and food displays as needed Ensure all event areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready prior to service Service Responsibilities Greet guests professionally and contribute to a welcoming event atmosphere Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and courteously Clear tables discreetly and reset areas as needed during service Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests Communicate any guest concerns or service issues to the Banquet Captain Post-Event Breakdown Assist with clearing tables, packing equipment, and returning items to storage Remove linens, glassware, and supplies after events Leave event spaces clean, organized, and ready for breakdown or load-out Report damaged or missing items to the Banquet Captain or Event Manager Teamwork & Professional Standards Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers Follow supervisor instructions and adapt quickly to changing event needs Uphold company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures at all times Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Qualifications Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred (not required) Strong customer service skills and attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Reliable transportation and punctuality are required Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred ServSafe Food Handler Certification Benefits Flexible scheduling Paid training Food provided during events Opportunity to work a variety of high-end events
