Job Description

Job Summary Berret's is seeking Part-Time (lunch shifts) and Full-Time servers (lunch shifts and dinner shifts). Please come into the restaurant to speak with a manager, do not apply here.
Candidates must:
Love Money Love Hospitality Love Working in a Structured Environment Love Teamwork Duties Greet guests warmly, and assist with menu selections, including wine and spirits recommendations. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system (Toast), ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items, including specialty cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments, and provide change or receipts as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations. Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with casual and/or fine dining. Proficiency with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, beverage service, and food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is preferred but not required. Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
