This role is responsible for guiding guests through the menu, making thoughtful food and beverage recommendations, accurately entering orders, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding hospitality from arrival to departure. Successful candidates are professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional table service with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail. Present menus, describe menu items, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations. Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process guest payments. Monitor guest dining experiences, anticipate needs, and provide timely service throughout each course. Maintain beverage service, including refilling water, coffee, and other beverages as needed. Assist with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining a polished dining room appearance. Support restaurant operations by maintaining clean, organized service stations and dining areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous restaurant, hospitality, or fine dining service experience preferred. Strong communication and guest service skills with a professional and polished demeanor. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler's Card and any required alcohol service permits. Company Description Swinomish Tribe, a community of Coast Salish peoples, are descendants of groups and bands originating in the Skagit and Samish River valleys; the surrounding coastal areas; and islands, including Fidalgo, Camano, Whidbey, and the San Juan Islands.
