Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook / Server to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing ingredients and assisting in the overall meal preparation process, ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and effectively. As a Prep Cook, you will: Assist with daily food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning). Prepare simple dishes under the direction of the cook. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas. Follow safe food handling and sanitation procedures. As a Server, you will: Set up dining areas before meals. Serve meals in a friendly and respectful manner. Assist residents with their dining needs. Clear tables and reset dining areas after service. Communicate special dietary needs to kitchen staff. Qualifications Previous kitchen or dining service experience preferred, but not required (we will train the right person). Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. Compassionate and patient when serving seniors. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Must meet background and health requirements.
