Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with questions about food and drink options Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring guest safety at all times Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles with a focus on guest relations Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for efficient order processing Strong beverage service skills including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation Excellent time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build rapport with guests Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards in the food industry Experience with fine dining settings or high-volume restaurants is a plus Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system is advantageous for managing guest seating efficiently Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels memorable dining moments!
