Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Bar Server, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will serve beverages, craft cocktails, and provide exceptional customer service in a lively, upscale environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk in. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food and beverage expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them through the drink menu, offering recommendations and upselling specialty cocktails, wines, and spirits Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food offerings to enhance guest experience Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and processing tips with precision Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed during beverage service and food delivery Assist with food service duties including bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to deliver prompt service in a high-energy environment Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or upscale venues Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, OpenTable reservations system, and POS systems like Aloha or Micros Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales revenue Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of alcohol laws and regulations Strong math skills for handling bills, tips, and sales transactions efficiently This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively environments. Pay:
