Primary Responsibilities:

Provides residents and guest with superior customer service. Takes residents' and guests' food orders, places food orders and servers requested items graciously with courtesy. Answers residents' and guests' menu questions. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions for dining rooms and staff work stations. Performs cleaning assignments. Sets and clears dining room tables. Maintains work stations. Follows proper food handling techniques and maintain standards of quality for all dining areas.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Active Food Handler's card or ability to obtain. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to perform simple arithmetic. Courteous, gracious, and tactful. Pleasant, cheerful and service-oriented. Genuine interest in working with older adults. Ability to work well with others; team-oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Neat and professional in appearance. Available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Regular, dependable, and reliable attendance.
