In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures an exceptional dining experience. Your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service, combined with your ability to handle transactions efficiently, will contribute to creating a lively and memorable atmosphere for our guests. Whether assisting in food preparation or managing the cash register, your positive attitude and attention to detail will be key to success in this fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide excellent guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process payments swiftly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with precision Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation to support kitchen staff when needed Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bus tables, and ensure proper sanitation standards are met Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations and guest flow during busy hours Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and proper serving techniques Experience with upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus Culinary or kitchen experience can be an advantage but is not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service!
