Job Description
Job Summary A new and exciting business is coming to Leavenworth, and we're looking for friendly, dependable people to join our team! We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time tasting room positions . Team members will welcome guests, lead spirit tastings, prepare and serve cocktails, share product knowledge, and help create a fun and memorable experience. Requirements to Apply Applicants must submit a resume Applicants must have at least 1 year experience in similar role/industry. Applicants must be 21+ years of age Duties Welcome guests warmly and guide them through tasting experiences with enthusiasm and professionalism Educate guests on spirits varieties, tasting notes, and fun pairings to enhance their experience Manage POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Square POS, including cash handling and sales processing Upsell products by recommending mixers, merchandise, or food items to increase guest satisfaction and sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, including glassware, tables, and display areas Assist with menu planning for tastings or special events, ensuring a seamless flow of service during busy periods Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, meal preparation, and beverage service Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and deliver exceptional hospitality experiences Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment required. Strong knowledge of service, including tasting techniques and fundamentals preferred. Experience with POS systems such as Square is highly desirable Background in food and beverage industry roles such as serving, bartending, catering, or food handling enhances suitability for this position Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service skills Prior team leadership experience is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude toward teamwork is essential Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and food items is important What we offer Hourly wages plus tips Full-time and part-time opportunities A fun, energetic work environment The chance to grow with a brand-new local business Hourly wages plus tips Requirements for Employment MAST Certification as required by WALCB Food Handlers Certification as required by WADOH.
