Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and resetting tables to ensure smooth service flow Use knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service to recommend options and upsell effectively Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and transaction processing Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell beverages, desserts, or specials confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill calculations Knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including OpenTable reservations management Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is highly desirable Exceptional communication skills combined with a positive attitude to create memorable guest experiences Pay Starting pay is at minimum wage + tips.
