Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and a memorable dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to serve food and beverages to guests while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Must be 18 or older to serve alcoholResponsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and offering helpful recommendations.
- Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to answer guests' questions and make recommendations.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service.
- Provide support to other team members as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Experience:
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems is essential.
- Prior experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- A background in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures is necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once is essential.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and menu items.
- Experience with cash handling and sales techniques.
- Proficiency with OpenTable and other restaurant management systems.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures.
