Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events and functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests receive outstanding service, contributing to the overall success of our catering operations. Duties Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests. Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor. Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Buss tables promptly after guests have finished dining, maintaining cleanliness throughout the event. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow. Handle coffee and beverage stations, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained. Assist in bartending duties during events when required, serving alcoholic beverages responsibly. Help with the breakdown of events by clearing tables and cleaning up banquet areas. Requirements Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Knowledge of catering practices, food safety regulations, and banquet service standards is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
