Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to maximize sales opportunities Process cash and card transactions efficiently, including handling cash handling duties and processing sales transactions accurately Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert recommendations Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell effectively Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and adhering to health regulations is essential for maintaining safety standards Prior host/hostess or cashiering experience is advantageous but not required; we value hospitality-minded individuals eager to learn Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets a dynamic work environment!
