Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner and Host, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will elevate our guests' dining experience. In this versatile role, you will serve as the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages while providing exceptional guest service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create a lively, hospitable environment that keeps guests coming back. Whether greeting guests at the door or swiftly delivering orders from the kitchen, your positive energy will be at the heart of our vibrant restaurant atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow. Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold food safety standards. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic meal assembly or garnishing. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payments, and receipts handling accurately. Maintain excellent communication with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service operations. Uphold guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or hospitality roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills with phone etiquette and guest interaction experience. Ability to handle food safely, including knowledge of food handling procedures and dietary accommodations. Experience with food preparation, bussing, cleaning, or catering enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Must be energetic, friendly, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience as a banquet server or delivery driver is advantageous but not required.
