Position Summary:
Provides world class guest service on our gaming floor, taking drink orders, serving alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, and taking payment for purchases in accordance with departmental procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Provides coaching and training to Beverage Servers. Serves as a liaison between Beverage Servers and management team. Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions. Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures. Responsible for the handling all payment methods. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). One year of experience serving in a high-volume food and beverage setting. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. A successful candidate must be over 21 years of age. Must be dependable, flexible, and available to work any shift, especially nights and weekends. This is a standing position, and includes bending and lifting, you must be able to do this job effectively for an 8-hour shift. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be willing to work in a smoking environment. Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience Supervising in a high-volume food and beverage setting.
