Dietary Aide/Server

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional food service in a hospital or assisted living environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in meal preparation and delivery, ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and appetizing meals tailored to their dietary needs. This position requires a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards while delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food production areas are sanitized and maintained in compliance with health regulations. Help with the assembly of meal trays for residents, ensuring accuracy in dietary restrictions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries and concerns regarding meals. Participate in training sessions related to dietetics, food safety, and sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Requirements Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living facility, or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of food production processes and dietary guidelines is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, including meal preparation and clean-up. Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
