Selkirk Pizza & Tap House is a locally owned and operated Spokane restaurant specializing in delicious pizza. Our team understands what it means to provide quality food, beverages and service. They take their craft seriously. They have a team approach with a bit of individualism sprinkled in. Selkirk Pizza & Tap House is proud of our Northwest heritage and strives to offer local flavors and ambience that is unique to the Inland Northwest. We use fresh, locally grown produce and we hand-craft our dough daily. We strive to serve the best tasting and high quality pizza possible.
Wage Pay range for position:
$17.13 to $17.13 per hour Earn tips Responsibilities/Duties Follow all policies and procedures On time and attend all meetings Take orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines Upsell by being proactive with suggestive selling and alerting customers to specials, promotional items and/or events Deliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasm Accommodate and fulfill any special requests for guests Communicate and work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to Selkirk Pizza & Tap House standards Correct any issues courteously and quickly Check with customers throughout their meal to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems Maintain a working knowledge of all food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time Assist team members with any additional tasks as needed. Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspace Adhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines Please note, job duties are subject to change at the company's discretion. Skills/Experience Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC) Washington State MAST/Class 12 or 13 One (1) year previous restaurant service experience preferred Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details Ability to multitask efficiently Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift 50+ pounds
