We are currently hiring part-time Restaurant Team Members for both Front of House (Cashier/Server) and Kitchen Crew (Plate Makers/Dishwashing) positions. As a member of our team, you may assist customers, take and prepare orders, assemble plates, maintain clean and organized work areas, wash dishes, restock supplies, and work alongside the rest of our crew to keep service running smoothly. We're looking for people who show up on time, bring a positive attitude, work hard, and understand that every position matters. Restaurant experience is a plus, but it is not required. Come join the Daddy D's team! Responsibilities Welcome every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and provide the warm Southern hospitality Daddy D's is known for. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other approved payments accurately and responsibly. Learn the Daddy D's menu and help customers with menu questions, recommendations, and selections. Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure orders are prepared correctly and served promptly. Assemble and plate barbecue meals, sandwiches, sides, and other menu items according to Daddy D's portion and presentation standards. Assist with basic food preparation, restocking, packaging, and other kitchen duties as needed. Maintain Daddy D's standards for food quality, freshness, and consistency throughout each shift. Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment and help keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized. Maintain clean and sanitary counters, dining areas, kitchen stations, and other workspaces throughout the shift. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures at all times. Keep front-of-house and kitchen stations stocked and ready, especially during busy lunch and dinner periods. Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail. Support fellow team members wherever needed—we operate as one team, and everyone helps keep the restaurant running smoothly. Arrive on time, ready to work, and in proper work attire for every scheduled shift. Help create a welcoming environment that makes customers want to come back to Daddy D's again and again. Experience & Qualifications Daddy D's Southern Style Barbeque is looking for team members who bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing great food and customer service. Previous restaurant or food-service experience is preferred and will be considered a strong plus, particularly for our kitchen and plate-making positions. Previous experience in a restaurant, barbecue kitchen, quick-service restaurant, catering operation, or similar food-service environment is preferred. Experience with food preparation, plate assembly, portioning, dishwashing, and kitchen operations is especially valuable for Kitchen Help/Plate Maker positions. Cashier, serving, or other customer-service experience is preferred for Front-of-House positions. Ability to learn and maintain Daddy D's food quality, portioning, presentation, and customer-service standards. Experience following proper food handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and quality. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities during busy lunch and dinner service. Dependable and punctual, with the ability to arrive prepared and ready to work for scheduled shifts. A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to step in and help wherever the team needs support. While previous experience is preferred, we also recognize that great employees can be developed. Candidates who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn will be considered and provided training as needed. Pay:
