Job Overview Assembly Technician Liberty Door & Window is looking for a dependable, motivated Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for taking machine-prepped doors and assembling them into complete prehung door units. The work is steady, repetitive, physical, and fast-paced. Prior door or production experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train someone who shows up consistently, works hard, learns quickly, and wants to grow. What You'll Do Assemble single doors into complete prehung door units Read and interpret work orders accurately Use nail guns, drills, table saws, and other production tools Visually inspect your work throughout the assembly process Verify specifications and document quality on required paperwork Move doors and materials using carts Operate a forklift once properly trained and certified Identify problems with material, work orders, or completed units before they move forward Maintain quality while working at a productive pace Work as part of a production team with a goal of approximately 100 completed door units per day once the team is fully up to speed Adjust when production priorities change throughout the day Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Assist other production areas when needed What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to push yourself Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to adapt when priorities change Attention to detail and willingness to learn our quality standards Ability to interpret work orders after training Ability to problem-solve when something does not look right Ability to work independently once trained Ability to work well as part of a team Previous door, construction, manufacturing, or assembly experience is a plus, but not required Experience reading a tape measure to 1/32" is a plus, but not required Forklift experience is a plus; certification is required before operating company equipment Physical and Shop Requirements Ability to stand and work for an 8-hour shift Ability to lift up to 70 pounds in a single lift Comfortable working in a production-shop environment Comfortable working around noise, sawdust, power tools, adhesives, fillers, and normal manufacturing odors Able to safely perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift Schedule 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM , or until the day's required work is complete. Overtime does occur based on production needs. Pay Starting at $19.00 per hour Pay is negotiable based on experience and demonstrated skill. Pay:
