Job Description
Overview Benvenuto's Beaver Dam is looking to add dedicated Servers (must be 18+ years old) to our team! We are looking for a high energy, people loving individual who thrives in a fast paced, think on your feet environment! As a server you will play a crucial role as the face of our restaurant and in charge of your customers' overall experience. We are in search of someone who understands and appreciates high level customer service and can offer the same individualized care to a table of one or a party of 20. You'll need to be quick on your feet (literally and figuratively) and have a polite and friendly attitude in all situations. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive at multi-tasking in a fast-paced workplace, we'd love the chance to meet you! Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each stage of their dining experience
- Utilize our POS system accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area
Experience Required:
- Experience in guest services, restaurant, or similar environment
- Proficiency in basic math for handling payments
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
