In this vital role, you will serve food and beverages with a friendly attitude, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. Your responsibilities will include assisting in meal service, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and supporting the dietary department to deliver nutritious, delicious meals. This position offers an engaging environment where your culinary skills and customer service talents can shine, all while contributing to a warm and welcoming community atmosphere. Responsibilities Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude that enhances the guest experience Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Support dietary staff with meal assembly, portioning, and ensuring proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed Clear tables promptly, bus dishes, and assist with cleaning tasks to uphold cleanliness standards in dining areas and kitchen spaces Help with setting up dining areas for meals or special events, ensuring a welcoming environment Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy meal periods Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food handling safety standards Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service Ability to work collaboratively within a team in fast-paced environments such as kitchens or dining rooms Experience with food safety certifications or training is a plus but not required Join us to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care through quality food service.
