Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly with professionalism, including handling drink service, wine knowledge, and cocktail preparation Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Process cash transactions accurately while managing credit card payments and open/close tabs using Toast POS system. Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills and guest relations expertise Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques Ability to multitask efficiently with good time management skills in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation training prior to employment Experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or cashier is advantageous but not mandatory Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
