We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Adhere to sanitation guidelines and food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment. Skills Proven experience in the food service industry with a focus on customer service and guest relations. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Culinary experience or knowledge of fine dining standards is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience as a host/host or in bussing roles is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
