Duties Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables or designated service areas, adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling protocols Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing as directed by kitchen staff to ensure presentation standards are met Clear and bus tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning tasks, including sanitizing workstations and equipment to uphold food safety standards Handle in-person customer service interactions professionally, addressing guest inquiries or requests courteously Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when needed Assist with food running during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including food handling and serving roles Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large trays or boxes of supplies Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management Experience with banquet or catering service is a plus, demonstrating versatility in hospitality settings Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances guest experiences Join us as an Expo/Food Runner and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
