Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, recommending beverages such as spirits or wines, and ensuring guest relations are positive throughout their visit Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine selection, and drink presentation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build rapport with guests Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience with serving in hospitality settings such as restaurants or catering environments is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
