Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu offerings. Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously. Uphold food safety standards and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the service area. Support the team by organizing reservations, managing waitlists, and ensuring smooth guest flow during busy hours. Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, demonstrating strong customer service skills. Experience with food service operations and familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on friendly phone communication and guest interactions. Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations efficiently.
