As a Dinner Service Speakeasy Server, you'll be the heartbeat of our exclusive nightlife experience and provide exceptional beverage and food service in a dynamic, upscale environment. At Don's we're all about hospitality while taking our guests back to their childhood with our 80's and 90's theme. Your energetic presence and expert knowledge will ensure guests enjoy a memorable evening filled with top-tier cocktails, fine wines, and personalized hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales skills and passion for hospitality while working in a fast-paced, engaging setting. Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them through the speakeasy experience with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring quick and precise processing of sales transactions Serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and food items with finesse, maintaining high standards of drink service and food handling safety Upsell menu items including specialty drinks and premium selections to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries about menu offerings like wine knowledge or cocktail ingredients, and ensuring a memorable experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently while coordinating with kitchen staff for timely food preparation and service Requirements Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably within fine dining or upscale bars Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS and OpenTable for seamless order processing and reservations management Extensive cocktail experience with an understanding of spirits, wine knowledge, beverage service techniques, and drink presentation skills Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; ability to handle guest concerns professionally Ability to multitask effectively using time management skills in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately; experience with cashiering or cash handling preferred Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in restaurant settings such as serving, bartending, host/hostess roles or kitchen experience is highly desirable Join us at Don's TV & Repair to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
